Cleanse Hair with Deep Cleansing Shampoo #1
Deeply cleanse hair and leave it tangle-free. It also helps to open the cuticles to prepare the hair for the smoothing treatment. Apply the cleansing shampoo and rinse. Apply the shampoo and massage shampoo into the scalp. It is recommended that if the very very curly or coarse, leave the shampoo to work for 5-10 minutes before rinsing. Cover hair with shower cap and apply heat from hairdryer to expose the cleansing shampoo to higher temperature, to ensure activation to hair. Then Rinse Thoroughly. Dry the hair thoroughly from root to tip with the hairdryer.
Smooth / straighten Hair with the Smoothing Fluid #2
Step 2 in the Alfaparf Milano Lisse Design Keratin Therapy straightening treatment kit uses heat to re-arrange hair’s keratin chains and leave them smooth without chemically breaking the sulfide bridges.
Divide the dry hair into 4-6 sections depending on the length
Put on Gloves
Place 40ml of the Alfaparf Milano express Smoothing Solution #2 into a plastic bowl. One can also add their preferred pigements at this point to the bowl. take a strand of hair 1/4 inch thick 5cm wide and apply the smoothing solution 1/4 inch from the root and use a fine tooth comb to comb the product all the way down hair lengths and ends. Note: Apply the smoothing solution in moderation. If the hair seems excessively wet move to the next section and use the rest of product on that section.
Leave the product to work for 20 minutes at room temperature. It is recommended that if the hair is particularly curly / coarse apply a shower cap and use hairdryer to apply heat at the cap to allow heat to activate the product for the 20 minutes. Then remove the cap and allow the hair to cool at room temperature for 5 minutes.
If the hair is damaged or very porous it will need 3-4 drops of Alfaparf Milano Keratin Therapy Lisse design detangling cream #3. Use a fine tooth comb to distribute the product evenly over the lengths and ends of the hair.
Do not Rinse. Dry hair thoroughly with hairdryer.
Divide hair into sections and use a straightening iron set at the proper temperature for the condition of the hair.
Rinse Hair well until no trace of the smoothing product remains.
Condition hair with Rehydrating Mask #4
This final step in the new Lisse Design Keratin Therapy Straightening Treatment features a powerful moisturizing mask that adds hydration back to hair and prevents dryness while slowing the natural drying process.
Apply the Alfaparf Milano Express Keratin Therapy Rehydration Mask #4 for 5 minutes then rinse off. Hair is left looking bright, shiny and is easy to comb.
Blowdry hair to preferred style and use straightening iron again (if necessary).
